From live tutoring and career help to language learning, legal forms, and more, it’s all free with your library card. Please note that some resources require you to log in with your library card.

Brainfuse — Live, Certified Educators & Navigators

Get real-time help from certified educators and navigators, available online every day.

  • JobNow — Live help daily, 2–11 pm, for job applications, resume and cover letter writing, job searches, and interview practice
  • VetNow — Live assistance for veterans Monday through Friday, 2–11 pm, for navigating VA benefits, paperwork, and programs
  • HelpNow — Live, certified educator assistance for homework, research, and writing in all subjects for grades K through college, available daily 2–11 pm

  • Just For Kids — Ad-free streaming educational videos, from read-alouds to TV shows like Arthur and the Berenstain Bears. Device-agnostic and mobile-friendly.

Learning & Language

  • Transparent Language — A rich, interactive online language learning experience in dozens of languages
  • Universal Class — Self-paced, accredited courses on everything from dog walking to computer technology to small business skills. Requires Augusta County Library card to access.

Virginia Writes

With the Indie Author Project, provided by the Library of Virginia, anyone in Virginia can share their writing with the indie author community. The Indie Author Project also provides tools for authors to create an eBook as well as a collection of great self-published content from authors across Virginia.
