What Is the Valley Libraries Connection?
The Valley Libraries Connection (VLC) is a cooperative partnership between three public library systems in the Shenandoah Valley:
Augusta County Library
Staunton Public Library
Waynesboro Public Library
All three libraries share a single catalog, so you can search, place holds, and borrow materials across all three systems from anywhere.
How Delivery Works
You don’t have to visit another city to take advantage of the full VLC collection. Place a hold on any item in the shared catalog and have it delivered to the Augusta County Library location closest to you.
Courier service runs between the three main libraries every business day
Delivery to Augusta County branch and station locations runs weekly
You’ll be notified by phone, email, or text when your item is ready for pickup
You have 7 days to pick up a hold before it is canceled

Your card works at all Augusta County Library locations as well as Staunton and Waynesboro Public Libraries. Across the three systems you can borrow books, movies, music, audiobooks, puzzles, puppets, and more.
